The Governor of Central Bank of Kenya Prof.Njuguna Ndungu(right) with his deputy Dr Haron Sirima at the forum convened at the Central Bank Headquarters to appraise key state actors on the implementation of KNESWS and the NEPG.
Central Bank of Kenya Governor Njuguna Ndugu has expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System (KNESWS) that is scheduled for roll out on October 31st and assured the agency of the Central Bank’s regulatory backing for its success. He spoke at the Central Bank of Kenya headquarters during a forum convened to appraise key state actors on the implementation of the KNESWS whose key component will be the National Electronic Payment Gateway (NEPG) through which the transaction payments will be effected.
“We are excited about this new system and as regulator are keen on its successful integration with the NEPG for improved efficiency on banking transactions.
