Joseph Zechariah Ngugi - Director
Mr Ngugi received his MA in Economics from the University of Nairobi and bachelor Art in Economic & Sociology degree from Egerton University. He also holds a Certificate on Agricultural Credit and Agricultural Co-operative from Agricultural Co-operative College, South Korea, Certificate on Fiscal Decentralization and Financial Management of Regional and Local Government from Harvard University USA, Public Resource Policy to Benefit the Poor from The World Bank Institute, Tax Analysis and Revenue Forecasting from Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis and Kenya Revenue Authority, Macroeconomic Modelling from Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis.
He is currently The Principal Economist at The National Treasury. He previous worked with the Ministry of Planning and National Development. (Currently Ministry of Devolution and Planning).He is a Member of Board of Trustee- Coffee Development Fund to date (Alternate to Principal Secretary for the National Treasury).
